At Seville Animal Hospital, we launch the beginning of each new year by celebrating our appreciation of having such a wonderful hospital for our children in our very own backyard.

This year we will be delivering over $600 to the Akron Children's Hospital thanks to the generous contributions at our front desk, our staff change bandits and our online auction winner, Ernie Lloyd. We will be sharing Ernie's day at our spa so be sure to check back and look at his photos.

Our online auction package went for $200.00 this year! Thanks Emily and Ernie and all that participated in the bidding!

1006 POUNDS OF FOOD!!!!

We would like to thank all the families and businesses that donated to our 1st Annual Pet Food Drive. Because of your generosity, needy families, rescue groups and shelters will be the recipients of over 1000 pounds of dog, cat, puppy and kitten food. Thank You!

Join us again this year at our 2nd Annual Photo Shoot with the Easter Bunny. All the money from this event is donated to the Medina County SPCA and benefits injured, neglected and abused animals of Medina County.

Please mark you calendars and help us support the Medina County SPCA. The success of this event relies on your participation.

This year the SAH staff and the community raised $321.00 to donate to the 10th Annual "Have a Heart - Do your Part" radiothon. This donation was possible thanks to your generous contributions at our front desk and our Silent Auction on the "Pamper Your Pet" package.

Buddie Fontana, a 6 year-old Wire Fox Terrier is the lucky winner of the silent auction package. Buddie's mom and dad bid $250.00 on the package which included a professional massage, a bubble bath at our hospital, a free 40# bag of Hill's Prescription Diet, a 12 month supply of Sentinel and lots, lots, more!

Pet pictures with Santa a Huge HIT!

We'd like to send out a big Thank You to all who volunteered and those that brought their pets out to see Santa on Saturday. Our 2008 "Pet pictures with Santa" was a HUGE success. The Medina County SPCA raised over $200. This money will allow them to continue their great effort to help injured and abandoned animals when the SPCA is called upon. For those that wish to participate next year, watch our website! We usually aim to schedule this event the first weekend in December.

Toys for Tots

Now thru mid December we are collecting new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children in our area. Help us put hope in their eyes this holiday season. We have a donation bin in our lobby and encourage all to spread joy.

Seville Library's "Sit - Stay - Read" - Wednesday March 19th 7:00pm - Readers of all ages are invited to sign up to read to "Teddy" a certified therapy dog.

Seville Library's "Easter Egg Hunt" - Wednesday March 19th 2:00 to 8:00pm - Ages 10 & under are welcome to participate.

We are proud to say that we are your official "Toys for Tots" drop off site. During the months of November and December we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children. Please do your part and drop off a new toy. Local children appreciate your kindness this holiday season.

We are sad to say that due to staff vacation schedules, we will not have a booth at the yard sale this year. You can however visit a couple of our staff volunteers at the Stanhope Park Gazebo for the Chamber of Commerce's famous Chicken BBQ sale on Saturday June 16th.

After our "Animal Habitat" lesson special visitors Dory (above) and Buck (below) surpise the children with a hands on learning experience.

A special thanks to the kindergarten teachers at Lodi Elementary for inviting us to visit their morning and afternoon classes to teach a lesson to their students about animals and their habitats. The class was taught by Dr. Cheryl Becker, Kim Fish and BJ Kennedy. Special Guests were clinic cats Teeter and Ollie, Susie Q (a Shih-Tzu) and Kim's Mastiff Buck. The children at Lodi Elementary's creativity and intelligence shined throughout our visit. We enjoyed spending time with our future leaders.

We would like to thank the SPCA for inviting us to attend their fashion show. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed meeting all that attended.

Once again the clients at Seville Animal Hospital have pulled through for another wonderful charity. The Akron Children's Hospital "Change Bandit" Jar in our lobby raised $166.86!!!! Visit us next January 2008 for our third year supporting this wonderful hospital in our community!

Thank you Seville and surrounding commumities for all your donations! The Marine Toys for Tots foundation was very impressed with the amount of toys they picked up here at Seville Animal Hospital. Be sure to look us up next year as this event is one that we plan on supporting year after year.
